Lots of Projects to share today!

Hello! We all know life gets in the way of our crafting and last week is what happen to me! My husband had to have emergency surgery and a week of all things fell on my shoulders. He is recovering and will be back to new very soon. Now, I did have some projects to share and hope you like them. I have been making some things for our little granddaughters basketball team members and fun gifts for others.  All these were made with my Silhouette Cameo because it was in front of me lol.   I wanted some new covers for some pillows that were looking rough and my friend Jamie over at CraftChameleon had some perfect ones.  These are 18 x 18 envelope style and come in a few different colors.  The designs for these are from the Silhouette Store and love how they turned out.  I used White Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl.

As I said, I have been making shirts for the little one and here is one for her to wear when supporting the local high school team.  I made this design myself and love doing the knockout.  I am still learning and since doing this design, I have improved it.  I also made one for her American Girl Doll.

                                                  Doll shirts with matching headbands
Time to get into the holiday season and this is the first thing I made.  This design is also from the Silhouette Store.  I did the paint, vinyl, paint and peel method for this.  I used just an acrylic paint for this.  I also waxed it.
One of the grandmothers on the team saw the bag I made my daughter in law and wanted one to carry stuff in to the ball games.  These bags are huge and are perfect.  I just used the Sports World font and added it to the bag in glitter vinyl.  Hope you liked these and next week I will show you a calendar I am working on.  Have a super crafty week!

Another Disney Layout

Hello and welcome. I have been working on a couple vinyl projects, but was not quite done for this blog post so I will share those later. Today I am sharing another Disney layout with you.  I still have lots of Disney to scrap yet and surprised to still come up with ideas lol.  I created this one using the Silhouette Cameo. For this layout, I used all svg files from the Silhouette StoreFilm Strip Cards #27809, Film Clapper#5548, Stars #18755, and Film Reels#26030.  I used Call of Duty Ops font from Dafont.com for my title.  I also got in my Shotbox and that is what I took my pictures with.  My room light is not great, but this is wonderful.  I can't wait to use it on these vinyl projects I am working on.  You can find it on HSN and Amazon.   Hope you have a very crafty week!

Time for some scrapbooking!

Hello and welcome. Today I am sharing a Disney layout with you. I am still working on my trip from last year and hope to get it finished soon since I have like 3 trips after this one to do!!! At least I won't run out of things to do.  Been working on shirts and other items for customers, but do have this one to share with you.  For this project, I used my Cricut Explore and files from Miss Kate Cuttables and PPBN Designs (new name change coming).  For the 2015 Mickey and Minnie, these are from Miss Kate Cuttables and also the Mickey hands.  The Mickey and Minnie borders are from PPBN Designs.  I did change the Minnie border because there were so many little odd pieces that I just cut the bow red and used a white pen for the dots.  I wasn't going to try to put all those tiny pieces together.  The dots were just made with paper punches.  These pictures are hard to tell in this picture are of Main Street of the snow falling before the parade and the start of the Very Merry Christmas Parade.  Hopefully, next time my pictures will be better because I ordered the Shotbox and it should be here on Friday.  Will give a review on that too.    Enjoy your weekend and will try to see you again next week.  We might take a weekend away which is much needed for the hubby! Happy Crafting.

Time for a Halloween Celebration!

Welcome. Today I have lots of goodies to share with you. It's that time a year for those little ghosts and goblins to visit and I will share some great ideas with you for a fun party.  I would like thank my friends over at Apexembdesigns for some wonderful svg files.  Be sure to visit their site by clicking their name.  They offer the latest and greatest in embroidery and cuttable designs.  They also make custom designs too!  Be sure to sign up and receive free svgs.  Right now, you will find all Halloween designs on sale for 25% off with code Halloween.  Now I would love to share some of my creations with you.
Time to set up for a party and you know it is so much fun to decorate your table and make your guest marvel with how creative you are!  I have created cute drink jars that have the cutest little witches.
I used printable vinyl and put these on the cute jars, added some ribbon and cute straws.
This is the cute witches that are available in this set called Witch Pack Cuttables.
Now every party needs games and I made a pumpkin toss game with images from Pumpkin Faces cuttable.  I cut the pumpkin and features out of cardstock and made a hole in the mouth to toss plastic ping pong balls through.  I mounted it on foam core that I made into table board.  Lots of fun playing this game.
This is called the Pumpkin Faces Cuttable and has so many fun faces you can make for cards, scrapbooking and lots of other fun crafts!
No party is complete without a photo booth and some props.  I just took a piece of foam core to create a frame, painted and decorated it.  I used Ghost Cute Cuttables to help decorate the frame and for the props I used the Halloween Masks Cuttables.  I loved these mask and in Cricut Design Space, I used the slice feature to cut eyes in the mask to be used for the props.
Look how fun these masks are and with 8 different masks to have fun with!

These cute little ghosts are from the Ghost Cute Cuttables.

                                                               Halloween Mask Cuttables
                                                              Ghost Cute Cuttables
Well no party is complete without a cool shirt to wear and this is a cute one, of course, my model is my sweet granddaughter Peyton.  I used  Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl and cut with my Silhouette Cameo and used one of the designs from the Boo-tiful Cuttable

Love all these adorable designs on the Boo-tiful Cuttable.  I hope you enjoyed and please go visit my friends at Apexembdesigns at www.apexembdesigns.com/cuttables

Vacations over and time to get back to crafting!!!

Hello and welcome. Glad to be home, but we had a fabulous trip. This time we went to Pennsylvania and visited Hershey, Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Gettysburg. I loved them all, but hubby loved Hershey the best!!! Wonderful and delicious place to visit. We got home and did laundry and stuff and I headed out of town again. I went back to my hometown in Ohio for my 45th class reunion. Hubby couldn't make this trip due to work and some changes they were doing, but I had so much fun catching up with old friends.  Well I didn't have much time for crafting so today I worked on a sign I have been wanting to make so I am sharing this with you.  I like working with pine wood because it sands nicely and holds the paint so well and you get no blemishes.  This is a piece I had left over from another project.  I was a 1 x 4 and was 22 inches long.
I quickly ran sandpaper over the top and the edges to smooth it out and gave it a base coat of Waverly Chalk Paint in Ivory.  I cut out my design that was purchased from the Silhouette Store and applied it after the paint dried.  I used 651 vinyl.  I used the Silhouette Cameo for this cut.
I then gave it a coat of Waverly chalk paint in Ocean and completely covered it.
When it dried, I gave a second coat.  As you will see in the picture, my e had a wrinkle in it and before I started painting I tried to make sure nothing would leak under it.
When the paint was completely dry, I pulled off the vinyl and tomorrow I will add some wax on it.  Using the pine wood helps because the vinyl will grab it good after a little sanding and the paint doesn't seep.  Well I will see you next week with another project.  I better be getting some scrapping done since I am 3 trips behind!!!!!

LOVE USING MY HEAT PRESS!

Hello and welcome. Today I am sharing just a couple projects because I am preparing for a trip which we will leave on tomorrow. Looking forward to getting away. Today my projects are ones created with my Silhouette Cameo and my best tool, my heat press.  I totally love this machine and use it many times a week just for myself.  I actually did a couple more things, but forgot to take pictures and it is late when I am doing this so will share later.  I had a friend want shirts for a local school so I found a panther on the internet and made a svg file of it.  I also used a font from Dafont.com for the lettering.  This turned out really good.  I think I made 3 of these shirts.
I am kind of daring sometimes and decided to see if I could heat press HTV on a fabric album and it was a breeze.  Now I have a album ready for the scrap pages I am working on.  I used the Walter font also from Dafont.com and used a white glitter HTV which does not show sparkle in the picture.  Nothing will be save now, love using vinyl.  That is it for this week and hopefully I can pull something together for next week, but if not is because of this vacation.  Have a wonderful and save holiday.

More Disney Layouts

Happy Thursday everyone. Today I am sharing a couple layouts I made for my Disney albums. Right albums because we took so many pictures lol. My husband was out of town last week one day and night so I had a scrapping pj kind of day. I was able to get several layouts ready for my books. I am trying to finish this one because I have two more trips to scrap and another one coming up next month.  We haven't decided where because we were waiting to see what some work was going to cost us in our kitchen, but no one seems to want to work around here!!!  This first layout was created with my Cricut Explore and it is svg files from Miss Kate Cuttables.  I love her files so much.
This layout was created using the Silhouette Cameo and some files from my friends over at SVGCoop that I have been raving about.  I made the title and I see it is not setting right on this picture.  I will fix it when I glue it down.  Lots of fun creating these and several others this week.  Been busy working on some wood projects for some friends and making t shirts for another friend.  Till next week, have a super week and get crafting!!!!

Sweet Baby Girl Gifts

Welcome, first off, sorry for being late today. We were out of town yesterday and when we settled in for the evening, I started watching a movie late and before I knew it, 1 am rolled around and I forgot! Better late than never!  Last weekend I went back to my hometown for my nephew and his wife baby shower.  They are having a little girl so in addition to the gifts I bought, I knew I had to make something since I am the crafty person in the family.  I knew I wanted to make a cute sign to hang in the room and with the help of my Silhouette Cameo and the Silhouette Online store, I made this one.  I purchased the wood at Walmart and used this adorable saying I bought from the store.  I used different pinks and silver in it.  Loved how it turned out.
I purchased some onesies, but who wants plain ones!  I found some cute sayings and added to them.  Her name is going to be Lyric so I made one with a monogram and her name.  Loved the name too, but I forgot to ask what her middle name was going to be so just used the first.

Close up , used white glitter vinyl so hard to see in pic
I finished off with a card I made using elements from Anna Griffin and with my purchased items, the baby gift was a huge success!!!  Hope this inspires you to try something new for your next gift.  Till next week, happy crafting!

Back To School Layout

Time for all the kiddies to head back to school in some areas. I know both of my granddaughters started yesterday and my grandson leaves for college this weekend.  Time is moving to quickly.  Well a little update for sharing my project.  I told you last week that I was doing some purging.  Well I have been on a roll and it is unbelievable how much stuff a person can pile up over the years.  The Good Will loves me, but the garbage people hate me!!!  I think in the next few days I will be finished.  I decided to go through all the photos and memories that my sons gave me all their life and sort threw and give to them before something happens cause if they had to sort through the stuff I did, they would just pitch it lol.  I laughed and I cried going through the memories.  My sons are 36 and 42 now and I even had their baby teeth.  I am sure they will be amused by that.  It is almost ready to send their way for their family too look at and boy did that clean a lot out!!!  Now to share my project.  Not much time to craft during this week, but I had this layout ready so I thought I would share.  Next week I will share a baby gift I am making which needs to be done in 2 days!!!  This layout was made with svg files from Treasurebox Designs.  I love all her wonderful files and they are so easy to put together.  I used bright primary colors and will be perfect for the little ones pictures.  Well I hope you all have a crafty week and I am hoping to get my craft room back and get these machines humming again.. I am thinking about the new Cameo 3 and it might need to find a home with my other machines soon!

Been M I A

Hello friends. Yea I have been MIA for a couple weeks, but with good reason. You know I told you after I painted my craft room that I was NEVER going to paint again, well....I did. If I hadn't wanted it done this week, I would have hired someone. We have been tossing around the idea of selling our house which we have lived in for 23 years. We have a upstairs and as we get older harder to make those steps fifty times a day. The big dilemma was the house is almost paid for and do we really want to start over again with my hubby going to retire in a few more years? Well, for now we decided to hold off, but wanted to do somethings.  Most will have to be contracted and we have had people looking and estimates with one complete major project that will be great when done, but I hate the thought of starting it for the mess.  After it is done, then someone will come paint downstairs.  This week I painted our bedroom and we bought new furniture.  I am also purging so much crap, the Good Will will love me.  Why is it when you do one room, the entire house gets torn up?  We still have to go back to Ikea for the closet built ins this weekend and then we should be done upstairs except some real cleaning of closets.  So I have had no time for projects to share.  That doesn't mean I have worked, I completed two window signs and made several t-shirts.  Today I just want to shout out to Robin Morris and all the talented designers over at
She shares her files for personal use and if you are into Disney and any other characters, this is the place to go.  I urge you to check it out.  Now on a personal note, if any of my readers are crafters that do craft shows and sell things, I have a bunch of blanks I want to sell as a lot for one great price.  It includes jewelry, hardware, burlap items and more.  I am no longer doing craft shows and want to get this out.  These are great for the vinyl users.  Just shoot me an email at happyscrapperdiane@yahoo.com and put in the subject line blanks and I will get a picture of all the items.  Most are still in packages.  Thanks and have a crafty week.

Sharing some things with you.

Hello and glad to be back with a couple things. Our vacation in Savannah was wonderful, but extremely hot. I also picked up a little bug while I was there, but nothing serious. Didn't stop the sightseeing we did. I got back and painted my craftroom. Lets say this is the last time I am painting a room. These old bones hurt so bad that I think I ate Tylenol!!! Just some trim work around windows and door on the baseboards, but that will be when it cools some. Told hubby it will be hired done for the rest!!!  I am still trying to get my room unpacked and things sorted, but have a couple things to share with you today.  Hopefully, I will get back to scrapping my Disney trip from December knowing I had two vacations after that!!!  Behind of course.  Today I am sharing a layout I made to donate to a friend for a fundraiser she is doing.  This is the Bushel and Peck layout from PPBN Designs which is now www.svgcuttabledesigns.com
This was really easy and quick to put together.  Check out this and other the great scrap pages Nikki has on her website.
I told you last time about this facebook group I am in and now she has a website and this is for free svg files for personal use.  It is called www.svgcoop.com and Robin and her talented designers share their work and I have made several of the designs.  Here are three I made to use on some pages I will be working on for that Disney trip.  She also has a facebook page so check it out and be sure to support her with only using for your personal items.  Hope to get back to scrapping this week so till next week, have a crafty week!

Just a couple projects

Well I am on vacation, but wanted to get a couple things to share with you. I will probably not have a post for a couple weeks because when I get home, the painting starts and I want to get it done!!!  I will feel much better with a freshly painted room.  This first project is card I created for my grandson who is a golfer.  I made this for his birthday in May and don't think I shared it.  It was created with a file from the Silhouette store and done on my cameo.
These bracelets were just done with a font on my computer and I got these bracelets at http://myvinyldirect.com   These are really good quality and I got earrings to match, but have not done anything to them.  They have lots of great blanks to make your own designs, so check them out!!!  Hopefully, you all had a super holiday and will see you soon!

Scrapbooking fun!

Hello and hope you are having a super, crafty week. Today I am sharing a few layouts with you and introducing you to a new place to get free, personal use only svg files.  Robin over at www.svgcoop.com and some other talented designers are sharing some of these wonderful files I used to create my layouts.  Be sure to check it up and sign up.  This first layout was made using a some of the files.  I also used a cricut cartridge for the first page, but forgot to write it down.  The Donald and truck are from SVG Coop.
These are going to be my first and last page of my Disney scrapbook.  These are svgs from the site too.
She also has some awesome templates too.  Love these I used on my Animal Kingdom pages.  All these layouts were done in Cricut Explore, but can be used in any cutting machine that uses svgs.  I will try to get a post scheduled for next week since I will be on vacation.

Been Gone To Long!!!

Welcome and so sorry for being away so long, but life sometimes gets in the way and summer is usually the time this happens for me.  With my grandson and two great nephews graduating and traveling out of state a few times, it has kept me busy along with ballgames and other things.  I have been working and today I am sharing some of the things with you.  I will be going on another vacation soon and two rooms to paint, but will try not to be away too long.  I still have more projects and information to share with you later.  I hope you will like today's share.
I am sharing a couple layouts that I created for my friend Nikki who has www.svgcuttabledesigns.com   I did some for her to post for a club she is going to have, but you can purchase her svg scrapbook files without the club.  The first one is Soccer Star and the other is Party Animal.  Her layouts are complete with with all the elements are so reasonable in price!  You can use them in any cutter that will cut svgs.  I used my Cricut Explore on one and my Silhouette Cameo.

I relettered my sons mailbox and completely forgot to take pictures and my husband thought we needed a new mailbox and we bought the one above so I designed the front of it with vinyl.  I used a file that I purchased in the Silhouette Store and fonts on my computer.  Super easy.  The vinyl is 651 and good for outside use.
I purchased some vinyl from Pro World that is made for signs and it is a Ultra Vinyl.  I did wash this in the dishwasher on the top rack.  It stayed on, but a couple letters moved so I hand wash not.  It was on the skinny fonts.  I got this saying from the Silhouette Store.
Well I jumped on the Yardzee bandwagon and my family wanted some for their summer games and pool parties.  I made my younger son this set for University of Kentucky Wildcats in the colors of blue and white.  I could not find any soft wood in 4 x 4 in our town so we bought fence post and cut them 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 , not a perfect 4 inches on it and it was kind of heavy.   We put them in the hot sun for several days and flipped them over and when they dried out, the got much lighter.  I primed and painted them and then cut a stencil and painted the dots on them.
My granddaughters wanted smaller sets, so Nana made some smaller ones in the colors they liked.
Since my grandson is going to Western Kentucky University, his parents wanted theirs for his school colors.  They plan to attend football games and tailgate while he is in college and this will be a fun game along with their cornhole.  I really enjoyed making these for my family.  Hope you enjoyed these few projects and I should be back next week with a few more before I leave to go to Savannah and Hilton Head for vacation.  I have some things to share that I made for my little granddaughters birthday party this weekend.  See you soon and Happy Crafting!!!
