Today's Projects!

As crafters, we like to plan out what we are going to make. Today I was suppose to be sharing something entirely different from what you are seeing. This is because my darling husband changed it for me lol.  He coaches little 6 year old girls basketball.   Our little granddaughter is on the team.  This year he retired after 27 years referring high school basketball and decided to keep busy he would coach her team.  After having boys, he sees girls are totally different lol and loves it.  They are finishing up the year and we decided to buy them a little gift.  We found these cute little girls with basketball necklaces, but he did not like the package they were in and ask me to make something.  So today, I am sharing the little box.  I did use the Silhouette Cameo for both of these. This svg file is from the Silhouette Store and #29811.  It was really easy to put together.

This next project is a card for my nieces baby shower.  I had planned on getting a little extra gift made for it, but the time got away.  Hopefully, I can share it later.  This cute card is also from the Silhouette Store and #79295.  I loved this so much.  I will see you next week so be sure to stay warm and happy crafting.

Anna Griffin Ribbons and Bows preview

Hello and happy Thursday. Not sure about you all, but I am having a little bit of the winter blues. I am totally tired of the cold and snow and so looking forward to Spring and warm weather. I am having a hard time trying to motivate myself to do anything. We are expecting a short couple warm days so maybe getting out will help. We are going on a trip in April and I will need a couple outfits so maybe retail therapy will do the trick!!!

Today I am sharing a few projects that I created using elements from the HSN release of Anna Griffin's Ribbons and Bow cartridge.  It is only available through HSN now but will be available soon to purchase through Cricut.  Of course, I used my Cricut Explore for the project.  The first one is a scrapbook layout that I used the Triple Bow Background to create.  I sized it to 11.5 inches and just added it to a black cardstock.  On the layout I also used the Triple Loop Bow from the cartridge.  I used Love from the Spring Fling and hearts from Seasonal Soirees.  Would make a perfect layout with your true love!!!

This next project is a box I made from Sweet Tooth Boxes and using the Petite Bow from the Ribbons and Bows cartridge.  This bow was a little deceiving putting it together and not sure it is right, but works for me!
This last one is a card using the Nose Gay Bow embellishment.  I also used an element from Flourish Cards and Embellishments for the title and sentiment.  I used the Cuttlebug folder Anna Griffin Elaborate Quatrefoil to emboss with and added some pearls for a little touch.  I really like this cartridge and can see lots of great uses for the bows and embellishments. Hope you enjoyed.   See you next week.

A little movie layout

Hello....very cold here in Kentucky so I just want to stay inside this week. I had planned on getting a couple layouts completed to share, but having some work done at the house.  Today I have made this layout using the Silhouette Cameo and images from the Silhouette Store.  We visited the Hollywood Wax Museum in Tenn.  I used the images Movie Star#39645, Cinema Borders #61131, Clapperboard #5548 and the Be Kind Font for the title #72772.  Join me next week and I will be showing a Cricut project with the Ribbons and Bows cartridge from Anna Griffin.

Some of my HSN Anna Griffin Projects

Hello and welcome to Exploring Cricut and More. I really didn't plan on sharing cards today, but got carried away when my order arrived from HSN.  I ordered probably way too much, but love it all and I really haven't spent much on craft supplies for awhile.  I ordered two of the cards kits, mainly because I really don't want to spend lots of time making cards when I have so much scrapbooking to get finished!  I love to send home made cards, and Anna Griffin helps by supplying all the stuff you need to create beautiful cards.  I am sharing 9 cards from the Floral Impressions card kit.  I also bought the pop up cards and will share those later on.  I didn't use any machines except for the Cuttlebug with these.  I bought my Cuttlebug when it first came out many years ago and I think it might be time to replace it.  Not doing a great job even though I bought new pads.  Might be a gold one in my future!!!  My hubby has been out of town for the last couple days so I have been scrapbooking and will share some pages with you next week.  Hope you enjoy these cards.  Not sure which is my favorite!
